We are almost finished with our Scribbler Unit!
Today, we will take a moment to reflect on what we have learned about robots by working with the S2!
First, you will make a new page on your website under STEAM.
Then you will write these three headings:
What
So What
What Next
Under WHAT you will just say what you did. This is just the facts. You can say that you used a scribbler 2 robot. You can describe it (red, wheels, what it does, move, LEDs, music).
Under SO WHAT you will explain the projects you did and what you learned by doing them. This is the part that interests me as your teacher the most so I hope you will spend extra time on this part!
Under WHAT NEXT you will explain what else you might like to learn about robots. Are robots more interesting to you now? What questions might you have about robots. Which projects would you like to do that we didn't get to do?
Here are some pictures you can use on your webpage. Click here and download the ones with YOU in them.

5-19-2014 Music!
Music today for Ms. Rickard's STEAM.
This week you will begin an investigation of coding for robots.
The robot you will use is called a Scribbler 2.
The coding uses a Graphical User Interface or GUI like Scratch. That means you don't write code like with Arduino. Instead you use blocks of code like Scratch.
Watch this video to learn more.
